high performance brakes for BMW E34 M5

"I bought this car new with the socalled "SUPER BRAKE" (345 mm 4 pistons. As a result I had to change every 8000 km (!) the discs. This was a good looking but bad braking solution. If I visited a racetrack to exercise, I had to have new discs and pads with me to change during the exercise. Now I have the biturbo brake and have to say: the hotter the better. Now I need good tyres. What a change. comment of the owner: I have now the MOV' IT brake in my M5 since 09/98. This brake stops well indeed.

It is fascinating to realize, how the brake stops always better the hotter it gets when braking from 280 kph to 110 kph. In comparison to that the stock compound brake is horrible. Combined now with the MOV' IT brake on the rear axle, I have to say: No way back! The car stays absolutely calm and when the rear brake gets warm I can feel how the back of the car is pressed to the ground. In the daily traffic I feel much more relaxed because so many dangerous problems do no more bother me - like trucks suddenly overtaking.
